The PAWENpreneur Awards is the flagship annual recognition programme of the Pan African Women Empowerment Network (PAWEN), celebrating African women whose vision, leadership, and impact are shaping the continent.

Established in 2023 to spotlight excellence across business and career, the Awards honour women of African descent — founders building enterprises, intrapreneurs driving innovation inside organisations, and leaders advancing change across every sector — at home on the continent and across the diaspora.

The awards culminate in a 3-in-1 event comprising a Summit, Exhibition, and Awards Gala, hosted this year at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Zambia.
